    The driving force behind Central Toronto Wrestling Club and a former OFSAA medalist and national senior wrestler in freestyle and Greco-Roman. With over 25 years of coaching experience, he has mentored numerous champions at the national and international levels. Coach Jay has held leadership roles, including President of the Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association, a member of the Wrestling Canada Lutte Executive, and Past President of Team Impact Wrestling Club. He was also key in founding the Central Toronto Wrestling Club.

  • Wrestling Coach

    Tamerlan grew up wrestling in Ossetia, a district of Russia in the Caucasus mountains with a rich wrestling history and the highest competitive wrestler population per capita. He has been in the top twenty world rankings, winning gold at the Commonwealth Games and bronze at the Pan-Ams while repesenting Canada.

    With his competitive career behind him he has taken an interest in coaching to share his knowledge with future champions and wrestling enthusiasts.

  • Wrestling Coach

    Saeed is an Olympian and competed for Canada at the 2008 Beijing Games.

    An experienced high-performance coach, Saeed brings a wealth of experience to the table, both with respect to international competition and domestic athlete development.

  • Jiu Jitsu Coach

    Onofre Lima is a 3rd-degree BJJ black belt, MMA fighter (3-0), and coach at Central Toronto Wrestling. A competitor in Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro and UAEJJF, he earned his black belt in 2013. Affiliated with the Fabrício International Team, Onofre shares his expertise through coaching and instructional content.

  • Kyle Jordon is an assistant wrestling coach at the University of Toronto and a decorated competitor. A Pan American Champion and multi-time National Champion, he brings elite-level experience to coaching. Kyle is dedicated to developing young athletes, fostering their growth through wrestling.

  • Vincent Sandir is an assistant wrestling coach at the University of Toronto, dedicated to developing young athletes. With a background in competitive wrestling and coaching, he fosters a positive and inclusive environment, helping kids grow through the sport.
